For a second consecutive year, PASTUDIO students involved in our USA tour to NYC and NYFA enjoyed interacting with students and graduates from the MCC Theater Youth Company, the longest-running teen theater ensemble in New York City.

Students enjoyed themselves immensely as they put their skills to work and everyone participated actively throughout the evening.

We had pizza for dinner and students from two different countries and cultures bonded through art and original work written and performed fabulously by MCC Theatre Youth alumni.

Both Carrie and I are now studying ways in which we can start a new phase of international cooperation that may help students from our organizations interact even more with each other.

The MCC Theater Youth Company is the first of its kind in New York to be associated with a professional theater and students write and perform their own work that is later showcased in annual productions.

My special thanks to Carrie Azano, Stephanie Ayala, Sasha Duprey, Jaida Hawkins, Syretta Henry, Crystal Hernandez, Jose Robles, Junior Rodriguez, Michael Sypa and Jonathan Torres for an amazing time!
